Greenstar Plant Products is a Canadian lawn and garden manufacturer and distributor (And previous a wholesaler until 2018.) They distribute products to garden centres, greenhouses, and hydroponic shops around the world.
One of my roles at Greenstar was to promote their brands through various print and digital marketing mediums. Greenstar’s sales were exclusively business to business. This meant most of the marketing material were product catalogues and sales flyers advertised to other businesses and not the consumer.
These catalogues were meant to be simple, easy to read, but still advertise and promote the products inside. Information such as SKU numbers, price and quantity were crucial to have inside to ensure the business buyers would have all the necessary information they needed to place an order.
Beautiful product photography is crucial if you want to sell a product. I organized and shot hundreds of products in various different formats. The catalogues required white cropped images as well as staged lifestyle and glamor shots. (As seen above.) This meant going on location to various garden centres, gardens and even our own backyards.
The key to a great office is a great environment. As member of our social committee I aided in creating fun events and potlucks for the office. These fun events often required a poster or two for the lunch room or a email mail out. Who says an in office poster has to be boring?
