Grotek™ is a premium plant nutrient company for growers of all kinds. They have an extensive range of fertilizers, supplements and soil ammendments to cater to whatever the grower needs. With a budding new Green line that is all organic they are a diverse nutrient company that caters to the wants and needs of todays growing market. 

During my time with Grotek I was responsible to aiding with the company’s massive rebrand and developing a brand standard and identity which I was required to implement continually with the rest of the brands marketing materials.

Final Flush was one of the many labels I worked on with the marketing team. I worked extremely close with another (Rachelle Netley) on this project to update the Final Flush labels to match with the rest of the Grotek brand. We developed the idea, the artwork and implemented it together.

There were 6 scents that required 6 different different but similar labels. Our challenge was to create a label that would remain consistent throughout the different scents but also be recognizable on their own.

During the extensive rebrand of Grotek I aided with conceptualizing the the look and feel of the new brand as well as carrying out the label creation. The original inspiration of the new look was based upon a popular tattoo lineart style. It evolved from that into what the current look of the labels are today. The labels are printed on a special holographic foil that gives the brand it’s unique shine, and works well as an anti-counterfeiting measure.

Designing solutions

A good product catalogue is key in the plant nutrient industry. Growers want to know exactly what they’re feeding to their plants and the science behind it. Grotek has such an extensive range of products that it’s important to highlight the features of each one and make the Grotek experience easy and enjoyable for the grower. One of my many tasks was to design and organize all the information required for the grower to know in a way that was both easy to understand and visually appealing.

I created the Green Line Catalogue as well as assisted on the Main Line Catalogue shown below.

Training guides

With the introduction of the Grotek™ Green Line we needed a way to educate, inform, and guide our representatives into the new organic line. A training guide was designed to make sure the reps had something to turn to during trade shows or sale calls.
